LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE

The truth is you don’t know whats going to happen.

It’s scary. Isn’t it? Not knowing how you’ll feel after or how someone else will react.

You take chances and after you get the doing part out of the way you’re left with the hope that things will just work, but you just never know.

recently I took advise and it goes like this:

“The universe favors those who just do”

so regardless of how you feel before or what happens after, as long as you just do. Everything is so much more divine than you may choose to believe.

Cry all you want.

Beg for better tomorrows or no tomorrows.

Waste away and repeat to yourself that things aren’t meant to get better for you.

But change will come. Maybe not the way you want it to, but if you keep going and keep doing, you’ll see why things are the way they are.

The world is not at your pace, and I think that’s something you have to understand to make it far in this world. Sometimes the issue is accepting these “rules”, but like i said, whether you like it or not the world is at its own pace and were just along for the ride. The quicker you face the reality of it all, the easier it gets. And another thing I’ve learned in this world is that everything is a cycle. although you think you’ve learned all you can learn about love, hate, whatever.. It always finds it’s way back around and you must relearn what you already know.

I never truly understood it, but now i do.

I am more open.

be more open. more!

when you love someone and they love you and you choose to change for one another it’s called growing.

we grow together for the better and for each other.

but what if one person thinks this person wants you to be more lively.

when really that person isn’t thinking that at all. i’m sure they are working to make you better somehow, but not in that way exactly. the truth is you’re the only one judging yourself. you’re the one who wishes you could be more lively.

and the person you’re trying to change for is trying to change for you in the same way. not knowing that the way they think their lover wants them to be is really how you, yourself truly wish you could be more of. isn’t that kind of sad?

to trick yourself into believing you need to be better for someone else, when really.. it’s you you’re trying to be better for.

you find yourself blaming someone you love for my own insecurities. it’s either that..

or the person you love is trying to change me for their own selfish reason..

either way you know in the end the healthiest thing to do is leave.

and hope, wish, dream and PRAY that may the universe bring us back together.

and if you don’t.. let the resentment grow thicker and thicker until you both learn to hate each other and eventually leaving is the only option. this is so sad.

Things to do this coming year; A note to self

  • Focus on self care. You’ve neglected yourself for too long. It’s good to care for others, but remember that you are also someone who needs love and attention. Be gentle with yourself.
  • Journal more! Let out your feelings, document your life. At the end of the year you can look back and remember the ups and downs, knowing you got through them all.
  • Pursue your passions! You put them to the side sometimes and that isn’t very good. Make more art, sing more, make things! You have to work at your passions to get better at them.
  • Get out in nature. Experience the world without technology around. Go on a hike, rock climb, swim in a river. The world is wide and she is so beautiful. See her before it’s too late.
  • Save your money - don’t be so frivolous. You never know when you’ll need some extra cash, so store some away for a rainy day.
  • Stay studying hard! Get up your gpa so you can transfer to a great university! It’ll be worth it in the end, trust me.
  • Make more of an effort with friends. You can’t expect them to initiate everything. Sometimes you have to try hard and sometimes they will, but it can’t be one sided. Don’t shut people out.
  • Finally, give love and let yourself be loved. Put out so much love into this world and it will return to you, tenfold.
